A Chill Wind for November

Reminiscent of Edward Hopper’s “Nighthawks” painting, Anne Britting Oleson’s poem Sundown at the Galaxy Diner ponders the loneliness inherent in the human condition. Placed in a modern, truly American setting, her poem is cinematic, satisfying, and our Subsync Poem of the Month for November 2014.
